Refund Policy

This policy explains when Eventzloop issues refunds for paid subscriptions and how to request one. It applies to subscriptions billed through Razorpay (the only payment processor we use).

1. Free trial

Every new account gets a 7-day free trial on a paid plan. You can cancel during the trial at any time and you will not be charged. No refund is needed because no payment is taken until the trial ends.

2. Monthly subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable once the billing cycle has started. You can cancel anytime and your account will retain paid features until the end of the current billing month, after which it will not auto-renew.

3. Yearly subscriptions

Yearly subscriptions can be refunded on a prorated basis within the first 30 days of the billing year. After 30 days, yearly plans are non-refundable for the remainder of the year, but they will not auto-renew if you cancel before the renewal date.

Proration is calculated as: amount paid − (months used × monthly equivalent rate of the plan).

4. Service outages and material breaks

If Eventzloop suffers an extended outage (more than 48 continuous hours of unavailability for the core booking workflows) or makes a material breaking change mid-term that affects your usage, you can request a prorated refund regardless of the timing rules in §2 and §3.

5. Add-on services and one-time charges

Charges for one-time unlocks (such as paid lead unlocks in the public directory) and add-on commission collected by the platform are non-refundable once the underlying action has been delivered (e.g., the customer’s contact has been shown to you).

6. How to request a refund

Email support@eventzloop.com from the email address registered on the account, including:

  • The Razorpay payment ID for the charge in question
  • The reason for the refund request
  • Your company name (as it appears on the account)

We respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are sent back via Razorpay to the original payment method and typically take 5–7 business days to land.

7. Cancellation vs. refund

Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals; it does not automatically issue a refund for the current period. If you want both, send the refund request as described in §6 in addition to cancelling from the app.

8. Chargebacks

If you raise a chargeback through your bank or card network without contacting us first, we may suspend your account until the dispute is resolved. Please email us before initiating a chargeback — we can almost always resolve the issue faster.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the change. Material changes will be announced in-app for 30 days before they take effect, and they will not apply retroactively to subscriptions already billed.
